I had seen some things online talking about how drummers can learn drums without having to learn all the “boring” stuff like rhythm and theory, and I decided to give my two cents. Here is a link to the Phat Beat where I have a recommendation for book I actually finished cover to cover. It is great for learning grooves from a lot of styles. It has helped my drumming a lot. And plus Larry is a pretty cool guy.

This was a soundalike project that I played drums on with some good friends of mine while I was in school. The session was really fun but the tune was actually really challenging because we all had to learn the parts just like the record or as close as we could get to it. It is just the audio but you can also find links to the other players who took part in it.
