In the spirit of Christmas I have uploaded a CHART for “What Child is This?” by Mercy Me. They do say “The best way to spread Christmas cheer is to play drums LOUD for all to hear!”

I had seen some things online talking about how drummers can learn drums without having to learn all the “boring” stuff like rhythm and theory, and I decided to give my two cents. Hey Everyone! I have just launched a new blog that will hopefully present a lot of useful information. It is called the Phat Beat and you can find it HERE. I am still in the beginning stages and I plan on doing some interviews so you can learn a little bit more about some drummers and also get some cool little tips and tricks from them.

Here is another session that I was lucky enough to be a part of. This session took place at Keep the Edge Studios with my college roommates Keith Asack and Kim Pfluger who have since moved their studio to a killer space in Quincy, MA.

This was a soundalike project that I played drums on with some good friends of mine while I was in school. The session was really fun but the tune was actually really challenging because we all had to learn the parts just like the record or as close as we could get to it. It is just the audio but you can also find links to the other players who took part in it.
